To help our students feel more connected to the world around them and to empower them to take action that can effect change, Riverside students are provided the opportunity to learn within our amazing outdoor environment.

Riverside Intermediate is located alongside the White River as well as the Nonie Werbe Krauss Nature Preserve. Our educators are busy developing experiences that immerse our students in the surrounding environment. We have identified three areas of focus within our STEM program that highlight what we are about: Agriculture, Engineering and Environment. We invite you to explore the varied student experiences within each focus area.
